Finding My Home In Two Worlds

This is my story—a journey from a shy, innocent girl in Iran to a courageous woman who included the challenges of building a new life in America. Leaving my homeland was anything but easy. It was a leap into the unknown, filled with fear, uncertainty, and countless questions. Life in the U.S. tested me in ways I never could have anticipated. The struggles were real: language barriers, cultural shock, and learning to navigate a whole new world. Yet, through it all, I grew stronger.

Eventually, I returned to Iran, and that trip became a turning point. It revealed how deeply my identity was rooted in my origin and highlighted just how much I had grown. This book doesn’t stop there—it’s about the journey of life itself: the highs and lows, the love and sacrifices, and above all, the enduring importance of family.
